Do you talk to God? Does he talk back? The first question is easy to answer. But the second one will take a few minutes before you actually answer. Perhaps it is because people might think you are crazy. No one wants to be branded a lunatic. but many of those called by God are seen as such. So, whether it is a clinical condition or honest to goodness divine communication, we will never truly know. I know someone who claimed to have been talking to the Virgin Mary and even had a huge following. But after some time that person just faded away. Until he...became a she then pursued a singing career which unfortunately failed as well. Whether the conversation with the divine were true or not I have no idea.
In the end, our connection to the Divine is on a personal and spiritual level.
