People are good at making excuses. Even if immediate attention is required somehow some people can find some wiggle room. Perhaps it is a talent some of us have mastered while others were born to procrastinate. Don't get me wrong, I have procrastinated before and faced the dire consequences. However, in a world where no one will wait for you, you better get off your behind and start doing something.
The work is a wonderful example of a place riddled with procrastination. I've seen employees wallow their time on useless activities. While they feign actual work, the leave the whole company hanging. Moreover, the cost of money with wasted time is enormous. However, rarely do employees think about this. If it is worth doing, then do it right now.
