I have a friend who like to use the phrase "shading the facts" instead of saying lie. I suppose it is just semantics but sometimes the word choices make the difference. Just like most about life, what is real and true may actually be lie. If you've been in the position of having to tell a white lie then you'd probably understand. but some purists would argue that a lie is a lie regardless how white you try make it.
In the end, reality and truth are subjective projections of our consciousness and perception. One truth may be a lie for some.
